Software Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure in United States

Summary

Job opening for a Software Engineer on Granica's Platform Engineering Team to build and maintain infrastructure for enterprise customers. Role includes designing, implementing, and operating cloud-native infrastructure, building automation tools, improving CI/CD pipelines, and participating in on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience with Public Cloud Providers (AWS or GCP) (e.g. IAM, EC2, VPC, ELB, ALB, Autoscaling, Lambda)
• Deep familiarity with a scripting language (like Python), a high level language (Golang, Java, CPP), as well as Bash, and Terraform
• Strong communication and programming skills, and experience with technical writing
• Experience with end-to-end testing and automating testing infrastructure to improve CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
• Practical experience with Docker containerization and clustering (Kubernetes/EKS/GKE)
• Experience with cloud operations including monitoring, logging, incident response, and SLA management

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate the cloud-native infrastructure that hosts Granica's platform and multiple products and services
• Build, implement, and improve automation, monitoring tools, and components of the company's platform infrastructure
• Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments and continuously improve development and deployment best practices
• Participate in on-call responsibilities in rotation with platform engineering colleagues

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to work three days per week in our beautiful Mountain View, CA HQ or in one of our regional hubs which include Austin, TX or New York, NY
