Summary

Remotebase is seeking an experienced React/Next.js Developer with a solid understanding of modern web development practices to develop and maintain web applications using React and Next.js, integrate CMS tools like Strapi, collaborate with cross-functional teams, write clean code, optimize applications for speed and scalability, troubleshoot issues, and stay updated with emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a React Developer with a strong portfolio of previous work
• Proficiency in Next.js and its ecosystem
• Experience with React hooks and Context API
• Prior experience with AWS services (Amplify, EC2)
• Hands-on experience with Strapi or other CMS tools (e.g., WordPress, Contentful, Sanity)
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies
• Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Have 2+ years of experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using React and Next.js
• Integrate and customize Strapi or other CMS tools to meet project requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to create seamless user experiences
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve performance and reliability

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript
• Knowledge of server-side rendering and static site generation
• Understanding of SEO best practices
