Software Engineer, Full Stack

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related technical field
• 3+ years solid engineering experience in web3 / blockchain
• Strong knowledge of Merkle Trees and how they work
• Proficiency in C++ and cmake
• Proficiency in Rust
• Proficiency in TypeScript and yarn
• Experience with WASM and web development
• Experience with Docker
• Deep experience with linux and linux tooling
• Experience with Cloud compute (aws/gcp) and orchestration like k8s

Responsibilities

• Improve our internal developer experience
• Evolve code across the stack to improve compile and test times
• Maintain and improve our CI system
• Ensure that what we build can easily and reliably be deployed, and that it stays running
• Ensure we're getting useful data and benchmarks from our code, and use appropriate tools to visualise

Preferred Qualifications

• Located in the UK or can operate in Greenwich Mean Time Zone
• Familiarity with current Ethereum tooling (for inspiration)
• Passion for the web3 space
• Familiarity with other private blockchain technologies like ZCash
• Knowledge of peer-to-peer decentralized networking tools
• A love for Merkle Trees
