Software Engineer - Fullstack

Join GoDaddy's Partners Experience team as a Software Engineer to build and scale experience capabilities for AI site creation and optimization. You will work remotely, contributing to an AI-powered site designer and optimizer. Responsibilities include improving user interfaces, maintaining the application stack, enhancing team processes, and improving system observability. The ideal candidate possesses proficiency in several technologies, 4+ years of software development experience, AWS expertise, and a strong understanding of fault-tolerant systems and agile principles. Requirements

• Proficient in at least one of the technologies: PHP, NodeJS (Typescript), React, Java, and willing to work across technologies
• 4+ years of demonstrated ability in software development
• Working with AWS and understanding how to deploy applications to cloud infrastructure
• Strong understanding of building fault-tolerant systems (observability practices, operational excellence)
• Good understanding of agile principles

Responsibilities

• Work with product management team improving the user interface and workflows within the application and providing new capabilities
• Maintain the existing application stack that makes up AI site designer, AI site optimizer, and onboarding products
• Help improve processes within the team to work with more agility
• Improve the observability of our production services, allowing the team to quickly highlight gaps, resolve issues, and understand the performance of our systems
• Lead by example with a high standard for coding practices, including practical coding standards, modern software development approaches, test automation, and a strong focus on security
• Engage with engineers and partners across the organization to solve problems with broad impact, stay ahead of the curve with new technologies, and advocate for modern and effective tech stacks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI prompt scaling and optimization
• Experience with multiple JavaScript tooling libraries, like XState, WebPack
• Experience with BFF (backend for frontend)
• Experience in building CICD pipelines
