Remote Software Engineer II

Summary

The job is for a Software Engineer at Atlan who will specialize in building and scaling the connector ecosystem using Python and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate has experience in the SaaS industry and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy Horizon, our connector ecosystem.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience building distributed systems primarily with Python
• Strong proficiency in Kubernetes orchestration and containerisation
• Strong experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Python
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Familiarity with database systems, both SQL and NoSQL, and experience with data modeling and database design

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy Horizon, our connector ecosystem
• Utilize python and Kubernetes to architect and implement scalable, distributed systems
• Optimize system performance and reliability through proactive monitoring and tuning
• Address adoption barriers for internal users by continuously enhancing Horizon's features and usability
