Software Engineer II

Summary

The job is for a Software Engineer II role in Clearco's Customer Engineering team. The role involves designing and building software systems, working on new product initiatives and the core platform, collaborating with other teams to solve complex problems, and participating in incident response and post-mortems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building web applications, ideally with technologies like TypeScript, Vue.js and Node.js
• Familiarity with cloud service providers, SQL databases, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with testing methodologies, including functional testing (unit, integration, UAT), automated testing, and performance/load testing
• Knowledge of NIX environments and operating system and browser details (including processes, threads and file systems)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Design and build software systems with a focus on performance and maintainability
• Work on the front-lines of both new product initiatives as well as iterations on our core platform
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to solve complex problems
• Participate in incident response and post-mortems, ensuring issues are resolved and learnings are applied
