Summary
Join Multi Media, LLC's Platform Engineering team as a Software Engineer II and build foundational systems that support hundreds of developers. You will work on organization-wide CI/CD systems, contribute to the internal developer platform (IDP), and improve the engineering experience at scale. Collaborate with senior engineers, gain hands-on experience with tooling and automation, and contribute to high-leverage platform work. This role offers opportunities to build tools for engineers, learn about system workings, and contribute meaningfully to ongoing projects. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Some professional or project-based experience with software development (internships, bootcamps, open source, etc.)
- Familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Exposure to CI/CD systems like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI
- Curiosity about infrastructure and developer tooling
- A collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn from others
- Ability to communicate clearly and ask thoughtful questions
- Comfort working in a Unix-like environment and using Git
Responsibilities
- Help maintain and improve CI pipelines used across many repositories and teams
- Contribute to the development of our internal developer platform (IDP), including self-service tooling, workflows, and automation
- Collaborate with senior engineers on testing, documenting, and implementing platform enhancements or new tool integrations
- Write reliable, maintainable code in languages like Python, Go, or TypeScript
- Collaborate with teammates and internal customers to gather feedback and improve developer experience
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and pair programming sessions
- Learn from senior engineers while contributing meaningfully to ongoing projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
