Summary
Join Pantheon's Preview and Portfolio Team as a Software Engineer II and enhance the core software used by customers to deploy code and interact with the platform. You will improve Pantheonโs ability to manage portfolios of sites, giving customers greater control. Build new services and maintain existing ones, working with technologies like Go, node, Python, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Run. Contribute to technical documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment. This role requires 2-5 years of experience with complex distributed systems and diverse technical stacks, including RESTful and GraphQL APIs, databases, and revision control systems. Requirements
- Have 2-5 years of experience working with complex distributed systems
- Demonstrate capability to work with diverse technical stacks
- Work with RESTful and Graphql APIs, databases and revision control systems
- Have good writing and communication skills
- Have passion for continuous learning on a diverse technical stack
- Have desire to build new features and push the capabilities of the product forward
- Have capacity to work carefully and meticulously, to ensure products are reliable and well tested, and deployments are stable
Responsibilities
- Enhance Pantheonโs ability to manage portfolios of sites, giving customers greater control to assess, update and maintain all of their sites
- Work on building new services and maintaining existing ones that keep Pantheon at the cutting edge of web development
- Work on a wide variety of technologies, including Go, node, Python, Kubernetes and Google Cloud Run
- Contribute to technical documentation
- Collaborate and work well with cross-functional teams in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Have familiarity with Go and Kubernetes
- Have experience with Drupal and/or WordPress
