Summary

Prelim is seeking its first Software Engineer In Test to lead and manage the entire quality assurance lifecycle, collaborate with various teams, and ensure high-quality software delivery. The role involves designing, developing, and executing test plans, identifying and tracking software defects, performing manual and automated testing, conducting regression testing, participating in requirement reviews, and continuously improving testing processes.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright)
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Javascript, or similar
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the entire quality assurance lifecycle, from test planning to execution
• Develop detailed test plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Identify, document, and track software defects
• Perform both manual and automated testing
• Conduct regression testing to ensure new features do not negatively impact existing functionality
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on testability
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies
