Software Engineer Intern

Summary

Join Kinetik, a rapidly growing healthcare technology company, as a Software Engineering Intern for a 3-month full-time remote position in Bangladesh. You will support software engineers, shadow daily tasks, and contribute to software design and development under mentorship. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related area, Or, currently enrolled in a relevant BSc (4th year student)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Familiar with Javascript and basic understanding of NoSQL, databases preferably MongoDB
• Valid work authorization required
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Self-motivated and results-oriented
• Ability to interact with cross-functional teams and work collaboratively within a team environment to meet goals
• Must be detail oriented and highly organized
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Work with mid-level and senior engineers to develop, test, and maintain software applications and programs
• Perform routine tasks, including debugging, testing and coding
• Write readable and well-tested codes
• Document and test new software applications
• Help upgrade existing software or applications
• Research, investigate and fix a wide range of technical issues
• Collaborate with senior leaders to build innovative software solutions
• Proactively learn about new technologies
• Perform other related duties as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with React, Express, Node Js and serverless would be a plus
• Experience in competitive programming would be a plus
• Have broad understanding across the engineering stack
