Software Engineer Intern

Summary

Join Moloco as a Software Engineer and contribute to building a state-of-the-art mobile advertising platform by designing and implementing server APIs, mobile SDKs, User eXperiences, and web services for customers and partners.

Requirements

• Pursuing BS/MS/PhD degree in computer science or related majors
• Outstanding problem solving skills with proper data structures and algorithms
• Excellent software development skills at least in one programming language

Responsibilities

• Design and implement server APIs, mobile SDKs, User eXperiences, and web services for customers and partners
• Write server-side code that handles millions of requests per second. Current stack consists of proprietary code in Golang as well as Google Cloud Products including Bigtable and BigQuery
• Implement on-platform advertising functionality like sponsored ads and product recommendations without having to build it themselves
• Learn and explore new back-end and front-end technologies for planning new features to improve the services
• Collaborate with internal/external cross-functional teams to make the best advertising products

Preferred Qualifications

• Expected to graduate within a year OR already graduated within a year
• Fluent in English and Korean (both verbal and written)
• Experiences in development skills and modern web technologies (such as JavaScript ES5-ES6, CSS, HTML, RESTful web services)
• Experience in JavaScript libraries (e.g. Redux, RxJS), and modern frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, VueJS)
• Experience in digital advertising technology business
• Experience in Cloud/Big Data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCE, Dataflow, Spark, etc.)
