Summary

Join ClickHouse's Product Security and Compliance team as a Software Engineer. You will work with engineering teams to improve security features, manage risk and compliance, and enhance developer experience. This role involves designing, building, and managing systems for identity and access management, security operations, and compliance testing. You will also assist with unifying security tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and developing tools for managing alerts and notifications. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience building security and compliance solutions and proficiency in various technologies. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building security and compliance solutions
  • Proficient in one or more of the following: Go, Python, Cloud Formation, Terraform, Terragrunt
  • Hands on experience building scalable internal full stack applications
  • Experience developing against Okta, identity governance tools, Cloud IAM, and zero trust solutions
  • You are passionate about building secure systems that are easy to use and easy to develop against
  • You have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team and across engineering teams
  • You are a strong problem solver and have solid production debugging skills
  • You thrive in a fast paced environment, and see yourself as a partner with the business with the shared goal of moving the business forward
  • You have a high level of responsibility, ownership and accountability

Responsibilities

  • Work with engineering teams to understand our development practices and tools
  • Coordinate with GRC and security to consider risk as it relates to critical system components and data
  • Design, build, implement, and manage systems to unify and simplify how developers: Access the tools and resources necessary for their jobs
  • Configure access and security for new tools added to the environment
  • Identify, prioritize, report, and fix security issues
  • Support and develop automated testing for GRC systems
  • Assist with unifying security tooling and CI/CD pipelines
  • Aid in developing tools to manage alerts and notifications for SecOps, as needed
  • Perform basic triage and incident response for applications managed by security (on-call responsibility)
