Software Engineering Intern

Summary

Join Grammarly's paid Software Engineering internship program in Kyiv for a three-month summer experience (June 24 - September 12, 2025). This remote internship, with the option to work from the Kyiv hub, offers the chance to work on diverse projects spanning front-end, back-end, full-stack, and mobile engineering. Requirements

• Be currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program in Computer Science or a related field. Bachelor’s: 3rd or 4th year student only Master’s: 1st year students only PhD: 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year students only
• Be available for the entire duration of a twelve-week program (June 24 - September 12)
• Be available to work up to 40 hours per week in the summer period
• Be passionate about Grammarly’s mission—improving lives by improving communication
• Have strong computer science fundamentals
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, especially as it relates to technical collaboration
• Have proficiency in at least one programming language (Grammarly’s Engineering tech stack includes Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, or Go, but feel free to apply if your specialty is different!)
• Be proficient in English, both written and spoken
• Be excited to learn!

Responsibilities

• Work on end-to-end Engineering challenges directly related to your team’s high-level goals
• Ship code in your first week after orientation!
• Iterate quickly in a fast-paced environment and leverage your unique point of view to share feedback on product direction
• Partner with a mentor to scope, design, and execute a fully formed project throughout your internship
• Collaborate with a strong team of professionals from whom you can learn daily, especially with a mentor
• Get your hands on various APIs, frameworks, and programming languages
• Learn from all the challenges of shipping a product to tens of millions of daily active users

Preferred Qualifications

Have experience with Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, or Go
