Requirements
- Have 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Have experience leading teams and engineering projects
- Have experience across the stack with a preference for Python for backend code and React in web development
- Are adaptable and willing to learn new skills and technologies
- Have experience with cloud technologies: AWS, Kubernetes, Temporal
- Are willing to iterate quickly and learn on the job
- Demonstrate commitment to excellence in your work and the work of your peers
- Thrive in a collaborative and remote environment
- Are able to collaborate with team members from various functions to identify and solve customer problems
Responsibilities
- Work with other contractors and manage projects
- Lead by example and take ownership for the delivery of the contractors on the team
- Work with the product manager to define the roadmap, align the team around it, break it down into projects, and ensure timely delivery
- Ensure Filevine stays at the leading edge of modern web app development
- Design scalable systems that stand the test of time
- Help build a top-tier contracted engineering team in a culture that challenges assumptions while ensuring everyone feels included
