Requirements
- 10+ years working with technologies in our tech stack (Ruby, JavaScript, Typescript, React, Postgres, MongoDB and Elasticsearch, to name a few)
- Previous experience managing high-performing technical teams
- Experience solving engineering challenges in large-scale, globally-distributed, event-driven web applications
- Familiarity with adjacent functions (product, marketing, automation, operations) and a track record of working with them to get things done
- Use your development expertise to manage projects, priorities, and timelines
- Mentor other team members while raising the bar on design techniques and coding standards
- Experience with test driven development and a culture of engineering testing
- Strong communication skills: able to effectively communicate to team members, stakeholders and customers across many timezones. Business proficiency in spoken and written English is required
