Remote Software Engineering Manager

Summary

Job Description: Wellhub is hiring a Tech Lead for its Integrations team in Brazil. The role involves leading integration development, providing technical guidance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Software Engineer, proficient in Golang, SFTP protocols, and API design.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Software Engineer with a focus on integrations
• In-depth knowledge of SFTP protocols and experience with API design and development
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong customer service orientation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Skilled in one or more programming languages, such as Go, Java, Kotlin, Python, etc., with an in-depth knowledge of Golang being a valuable plus
• Advanced English skills and can clearly articulate ideas when speaking to groups in English

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of an SFTP and Public API for client's integrations with Wellhub
• Ensure efficient and reliable data exchange between our systems and external partners
• Troubleshoot integration issues and proactively identify opportunities for improvement
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the integrations team
• Establish best practices for integration development, testing, and deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, Professional Services) to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
• Work closely with the Professional Services team to address technical inquiries, resolve customer issues, and provide expert support for integrations
• Define and implement the overall architecture for integrations, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability
• Design and develop robust public APIs that adhere to industry standards and best practices
• Work with cutting-edge technologies and edge cases on a global scale

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with a variety of integration patterns (e.g., REST, SOAP, message queues)
• Experience with API gateways and integration platforms
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
