Software Integration Engineer Intern

Summary

Join BigID, a leading data security and privacy tech startup, as a Software Integration Engineer Intern. This 10-week paid internship (June 4th - August 8th, $20/hr, up to 35 hours/week) offers hands-on experience developing integrations between third-party data technologies and the BigID platform. You will collaborate with Partnership and R&D teams, design and develop integration solutions, and document your work. The ideal candidate possesses experience with integration and API solutions, API-led connectivity, and application frameworks. Requirements

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript/Typescript, Python or Java programming language
• Strong experience and understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, profiling & optimization
• Good communication (verbal and written) and organization skills
• Ability to execute and close out a prototype Software Integration

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Partnership and R&D teams to build prototype integration
• Design and Develop solution for integrations to meet business and technical requirements
• Document and share the knowledge about the solution built to wider internal teams at BigID
