Summary

Join Biosero, a leading life science robotic automation company, as a Solutions Architect. You will focus on gathering specifications and designing intelligent workflows using our award-winning Green Button Go Orchestrator software. Collaborate with customers, the Applications team, and Sales Account Managers to identify data infrastructure needs and implement comprehensive Green Button Go programs. Develop solutions to manage primary data infrastructure and coordinate advanced workflows. Travel domestically and internationally may be required for customer meetings and requirement gathering. This role requires strong experience with data, databases, and LIMS/LMS systems, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of strong working experience with data, databases, LIMS/LMS architecture and data centric applications
  • Familiarity with commonly used Data-Interchange formats and IT infrastructures
  • Experience and understanding of multiple technical domains – such as, but not limited to: application, data, integration, big data, mobility and analytics
  • Excellent creativity, analytical, problem solving, and time management skills
  • Have good written and oral communication skills, with an emphasis on providing practical guidance by explaining complex topics clearly and concisely
  • Ability to collaborate and interact with cross-functional team disciplines
  • Bachelor’s degree in Scientific, Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical discipline
  • Five or more years industry experience, with preference to Biotechnology-specific (Software and Science) experience

Responsibilities

  • Be a resource for pre-sales opportunities involving data services that can speak to the customer with relevant interface questions
  • Have a good acumen to determine needs of the project, assemble a statement of work (SOW), determine & mitigate any risks, and manage the implementation
  • Understand the customer’s needs for utilization of their data, databases, LIMS/LMS & Green Button Go to determine the infrastructural needs within the Green Button Go workflow
  • Identify workflow scenarios that require significant development and customization that can have potential risk during the implementation stage
  • Conduit to transfer important information of product roadmap to other Applications personnel to best support pre-sales opportunities
  • Contribute to sales quotes by providing an estimate of time/effort required to implement upon data and LIMS integration efforts
  • Engage with customer/partner and cross functional teams to ensure successful transition and execution from sales to product delivery
  • Provide thought leadership through collaborative feedback on product development and improvement of existing and future Biosero software products
  • Where possible, contribute to marketing efforts to generate material that will promote Biosero products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and technologies (Azure, AWS, IBM Cloud)
  • Familiarity with both relational databases (SQL Server) and non-relational databases (CosmosDB, MongoDB)
  • Excellent understanding of the architectural principles for cloud-based platforms that include SaaS, multi-tenancy, and automation
