Summary
Join one of XTM Group's Scrum teams as a passionate Software Tester with a few years of experience in manual testing and a desire to learn automation. You will perform thorough manual testing, collaborate with developers and other tech enthusiasts, investigate and debug bugs, document test findings, and track performance metrics. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, manual testing experience, SQL and Linux knowledge, understanding of version control and CI/CD, strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, fluency in Polish, and B1 English proficiency. Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience in manual testing
- Good knowledge of SQL and Linux (command line)
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong problem-solving skills and a laser-sharp attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Fluency in Polish
- Proficiency in English at a B1 level (mainly for technical documentation)
Responsibilities
- Be the hero who leads and performs thorough manual testing, ensuring that every critical functionality is covered
- Collaborate with a fantastic team of developers, testers, and other tech enthusiasts to design and execute amazing test scenarios
- Investigate and debug like a detective, working closely with developers to squash bugs fast
- Document and share your test findings in a way that everyone understands and appreciates
- Help keep track of performance and release metrics to ensure top-quality releases
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Jenkins
- Budding interest in test automation (commercial automation experience is not required)
- Knowledge of Confluence, Jira and Xray for test management
- Familiarity with Java and Selenium
- Interest or experience in TDD or BDD-driven acceptance testing
- Experience with Soap UI and Postman
- Experience with API testing
- An ISTQB certificate (Foundation level)
- Experience in Agile, Scrum
