Software Tester Automation

Summary

Join TIMOCOM as a Software Tester – Automation and lead requirements and specifications for test cases, ensuring seamless authentication on their platform. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated end-to-end tests with Playwright in a TypeScript tech stack, helping to build a structured approach to load and performance testing, and integrating quality into CI/CD pipelines. Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in E2E test automation, ideally with Playwright, alternatively with Cypress or Selenium
• Practical knowledge of load and performance testing using tools such as k6, Artillery, or JMeter
• Experience with test methods such as Smoke Tests, Regression Testing, Page Object Models or Cross-Browser testing
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript as well as CI/CD environments (e.g. GitLab Pipelines)
• Very good English (B2) and fluent German (C1) language skills
• Enthusiasm for actively shaping structures and processes as well as independent, responsible working methods

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements and specifications for test cases and ensure seamless authentication on the platform
• Work 100% remotely or flexibly utilize TEAMocom Spaces
• Take responsibility for the conception, implementation, and maintenance of automated end-to-end tests with Playwright in our TypeScript tech stack
• Help build a structured approach to load and performance testing using tools like k6 and Artillery
• Use tools like Testmo and Checkly and work closely with Dev, Product, and DevOps to seamlessly integrate quality into our CI/CD pipelines (GitLab)
• Contribute to the further development of our test strategy – for example in the area of Visual Regression, Synthetic Monitoring or Monitoring as Code
