Summary

The job is for a full-time remote Solution Architect at Development InfoStructure (DEVIS). The role involves designing and implementing technology solutions that address clients' business needs, primarily in the federal, state, and local governments, as well as the defense and intelligence communities. The Solution Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and sustainable solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, with a track record of designing and implementing complex technology solutions
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, architectural patterns, and system integration techniques
• Proficiency in designing and implementing distributed systems, microservices architectures, and cloud-based solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with enterprise application integration (EAI) technologies, API management, and service-oriented architecture (SOA)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex business requirements and architect scalable solutions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders
• Leadership skills and the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals
• Certification in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman is a plus
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
• Demonstrated ability come up with System designs, architecture, process flows and Concept of Operations for large complex systems
• Knowledge and demonstrated experience of CMS Healthcare, Medicare and Medicaid systems and data is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions and architectural designs
• Design end-to-end solutions that encompass software applications, infrastructure, data architecture, and integration components, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements
• Develop architectural blueprints, diagrams, and documentation to communicate the solution design to development teams, project managers, and stakeholders
• Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and frameworks to support solution development, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, and cost-effectiveness
• Lead architectural reviews and provide guidance to development teams on best practices, design patterns, and coding standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions
• Collaborate with enterprise architects to align solution designs with the organization's overall architecture principles, standards, and governance processes
• Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in solution architecture, incorporating them into the development lifecycle to drive innovation and efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years of stay in the U.S. within the last 5 years is a must to be eligible to qualify for public trust clearance sponsorship
