Solution Consultant

Job location: This is a remote role. You may work anywhere from home and be based anywhere in Mexico. Travel required 5% International and 75% Domestic.

About the team

As a member of our Consulting Team, you understand our customers’ most pressing business performance challenges and you are committed to helping our customers solve complex issues in their supply chain execution practice. Working with new and existing customers, you will provide expert guidance in integrating our product offerings so that our customers can start to experience the immediate value of Kinaxis solutions.

What you will do

Implementation

  • Independently implement the business requirements into Kinaxis supply chain execution software specifications through product configurations, often ranging from medium to high level complexity.
  • Apply increasingly complex mathematical models to improve customer supply chain performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure that design and best practices are followed in configuration and maintenance of application.
  • Execute the validation and testing of the solution, capture user feedback and consult the Solution Architect or Senior Solution Consultants on best approach to resolve unusual roadblocks.

Deployment

  • Participate in deployment workshops with customers with a focus on guiding and training end users on how the supply chain execution solution was configured in relation to their business requirements and how to achieve immediate value from their investment.
  • Provide continued support to the customer during the testing phase of the project to ensure the customer understands the solution and how it integrates into their supply chain management objectives and practices.

Communication and Documentation

  • Explain product value and common supply chain concepts, industry trends and best practices to project team members and customer team.
  • Update solution documentation and contribute to process improvements for future documentation requirements.
  • See to any other reasonable project related task assigned.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Information Technology or a related field
  • Passion for working in customer facing roles and able to demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication facilitation and presentation skills.
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in software implementations or deployments in the supply chain planning or supply chain execution space.
  • Experience working with supply chain processes and/or and Transportation Management solutions such as SAP TM, Oracle OTM or Blue Yonder Luminate applications to support supply chain execution.
  • Some facilitation experience in needs requirements and analysis sessions with customers and system end users.
  • Proven experience in applying supply chain best practices and concepts as it relates to execution, control tower, orchestration, freight settlement.
  • Self-starter who shows initiative in their work and learning and can excel in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills, able to synthesize a high volume of complex information to determine best course of action.
  • Works well in a team environment and can work effectively with people at all levels in an organization. Previous exposure to managing external stakeholders such as customers and executive sponsors.
  • Technical skills such as SQL, R, Java Script, Python are a definite asset.
  • Experience with visual tools like Viso and Miro is a nice to have.
  • Open to travel 75% on average and 100% occasionally and can work effectively when working remotely from client sites.
  • Regular overlap with EMEA working hours will be required for collaboration with core teams based in that region.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
