Solutions Architect - Presales

Summary

Join Unstructured, a leader in ETL for LLMs, as a Solutions Architect in our Pre-Sales team. Partner with Sales to qualify opportunities, design tailored solutions using Unstructured's product suite, and lead technical presentations and demos. Guide customers through onboarding, translate feedback to Product & Engineering, and create scalable resources. Stay ahead of industry trends and build trust with customers to close technical gaps. This role requires 3-5+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering or a technical customer-facing role, a strong grasp of data workflows, cloud platform experience, and excellent communication skills. Requirements

• 3–5+ years in pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, or a technical customer-facing role
• Strong grasp of data ingestion, preprocessing, and analysis workflows, especially around unstructured data
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Clear, compelling communicator—comfortable presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Proven ability to build customer trust, influence decisions, and close technical gaps
• Collaborative, curious, and solutions-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

• Partner with SalesJoin forces with AEs to qualify technical opportunities and run strategic discovery sessions with prospective customers
• Design Tailored SolutionsArchitect customized technical approaches using Unstructured’s product suite—addressing each customer’s specific data and AI challenges
• Demo the VisionLead technical presentations, live demos, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) that bring our solutions to life
• Guide Onboarding SuccessBe the customer’s trusted technical partner from evaluation through successful onboarding—ensuring smooth adoption and implementation
• Translate Feedback to ProductRelay customer insights directly to Product & Engineering—helping shape our roadmap and improve our offering
• Create Scalable ResourcesBuild solution guides, architecture diagrams, and integration blueprints to accelerate adoption and repeatability
• Stay Ahead of the CurveTrack industry trends, emerging tools, and competitor movements to position Unstructured as the definitive leader in the space

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on Python
• Familiarity with NLP, AI/ML, or LLM workflows
• Experience with RESTful APIs, data pipelines, and ETL tools
• Prior work in early-stage startups or high-growth tech environments
