Solutions Architect

Summary

Join Unstructured, a leading ETL provider for LLMs, as a Solutions Architect on our Technical Pre-Sales team. This remote role (with occasional Bay Area travel) involves collaborating with sales to identify and qualify technical opportunities. You will conduct technical discovery sessions, design tailored solutions using our products, and deliver presentations and POCs. You'll serve as the primary technical contact, providing guidance and support throughout the sales cycle. This position requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Requirements

• Proven experience in a technical presales, solutions architect, or similar role, ideally within a SaaS or data-focused company
• Strong knowledge of data ingestion, preprocessing, and analysis technologies, particularly in handling unstructured data
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and relevant data processing frameworks
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport with customers and influence decision-makers
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for designing creative solutions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings and events

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify technical opportunities with prospective customers
• Conduct technical discovery sessions to understand customer needs, pain points, and goals
• Design and present customized solutions using Unstructured's products and services, demonstrating how they address the client's specific challenges
• Develop and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept (POC) projects
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for prospects throughout the sales cycle, providing guidance and support to ensure successful onboarding
• Work closely with the product and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and influence product development
• Create and maintain technical documentation, such as architecture diagrams, solution blueprints, and integration guides
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors to position Unstructured’s offerings effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI/ML technologies, natural language processing, or data science
• Familiarity with Python and data integration tools
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, data pipelines, and ETL processes
• Prior experience working in a startup environment is a plus
