Join Nooks as the Founding Solutions Engineer and play a pivotal role in bridging technical capabilities and sales strategy. You will be instrumental in shaping our go-to-market approach, designing scalable processes, and ensuring technical alignment with customer needs. This high-impact, early-stage role demands both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You will serve as the technical expert in customer engagements, partnering closely with sales to support discovery calls, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept efforts. Building scalable processes and playbooks for technical pre-sales and implementation is key, as is acting as the voice of the customer. The role requires strong communication and collaboration skills.
Requirements
- 4+ years of Solutions Engineer experience, preferably in a SaaS environment
- Proven success at an early-stage company, demonstrating adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Experience building and scaling processes from scratch
- Deep understanding of sales prospecting tools and workflows
- Comfortable writing prospecting sequences and working closely with sales teams
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Highly collaborative and proactive problem-solver with excellent organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical expert in customer engagements, translating technical capabilities into business value
- Partner closely with Sales to support discovery calls, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept efforts
- Build scalable processes and playbooks for technical pre-sales and implementation
- Act as the voice of the customer by providing feedback to Product and Engineering to enhance our offering
- Design and deliver compelling demonstrations that showcase the value of Nooks in solving customer pain points
- Create and maintain documentation, including technical FAQs, best practices, and implementation guides
- Establish strong relationships with prospects and customers, ensuring alignment with their goals and success criteria
- Collaborate across teams, including Sales, Product, and Marketing, to refine messaging and go-to-market strategies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with sales prospecting tools such as Outreach, Salesloft, or ZoomInfo
- Familiarity with automation and AI tools for sales enablement
- A track record of success working with sales leaders or in sales-tech
