Summary

Join Hudl as a Sourcing Lead and drive our ODM and JDM projects. You will find and develop partners, manage supplier relationships, and optimize sourcing strategies. Collaborate with internal teams to streamline supplier engagement and product launch processes. Ensure compliance with ethical sourcing policies and regulatory requirements. Monitor market trends and supplier capabilities to drive continuous improvement. Travel to supplier facilities for inspections and negotiations. This role is primarily based in Lincoln, Nebraska, with remote options in Boston.

Requirements

  • Effectively communicate ideas and solutions to cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering or a related field
  • Have 7+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement or supply chain management, with a strong focus on ODM and JDM partnerships

Responsibilities

  • Find and develop ODM and JDM partners
  • Manage supplier relationships
  • Optimize sourcing strategies
  • Ensure the successful execution of product development and procurement initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product development engineering, and quality assurance, to streamline supplier engagement and product launch processes
  • Ensure compliance with ethical sourcing policies, regulatory requirements and sustainability initiatives
  • Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities and industry developments to drive continuous improvement in sourcing strategies
  • Travel to supplier facilities for selection/procurement inspections, production inspections, commercial negotiations and product exploration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have an MBA
  • Have worked in an environment that analyzes global supply chain trends, manufacturing processes and delivers products at a global scale
  • Have worked with international suppliers and have an understanding of cultural and business differences
  • Know how to drive cost-saving initiatives and process improvements while maintaining product quality and innovation
  • Have worked with MRP, ERP and PLM systems
  • Have a solid foundation in hardware engineering and a good familiarity with embedded software. A proven track record of delivering state-of-the-art electronics designs, boards and products would be a plus
