Summary

We are looking for a driven and mission-focused Senior Director, Research and Evaluation to provide strategic leadership to our research and evaluation team. This remote/work from home position in the US comes with a 25% travel component and offers a competitive salary between $105,000 and $130,000.

Requirements

  • Maintain an active relationship with Jesus Christ and support the ministry through prayer and actions
  • 10-15 years of experience in program assessment or evaluation and research
  • 7+ years of experience managing a research team
  • Master's degree in statistics, education, criminology, sociology, or a related field required ; Ph.D. preferred
  • Proficiency in MD Office; SPSS or another statistic program; database proficiency
  • Expertise in structural equation modeling, diagnostic classification modeling, psychometrics and quantitative methodology ideal
  • Experience collecting, commissioning, or publishing research
  • Familiarity with IRB processes, experimental designs, and multi-site data collection processes
  • Advanced skills in analytics and statistics as they apply to program assessment and modeling

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership to the research and evaluation team with an emphasis on cultural impact and programmatic excellence
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure strategic alignment of research projects, excellent communication, and efficient project management standards
  • Manage relationships with relevant partners, vendors, and external research colleagues
  • Set and manage processes to ensure data sharing agreements are in place, research standards are met or exceeded, and project design is vetted prior to implementation
  • Oversee the research team to promote strong interpersonal competencies, consistent strategic value to the organization, and a reputation for excellence in the marketplace

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of issues relevant to successful criminal justice outcomes preferred
  • Excellent communication and social skills to interact with partners, vendors, universities, and DOC
