Summary

The Sr. Manager, Power and Policy is a full-time position at Core Scientific in Austin, Texas (or remote). The role involves working closely with corporate executives to develop power and policy plans, site location growth plans, and drive execution. The job requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of experience at a top tier management consulting firm, energy, economic development or policy experience. The position involves domestic travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with corporate executives and cross functional teams across the organization
• Work closely with utility partners, economic agency partners, community partners, elected officials and property representatives
• Develop, lead, and implement power and site selection policies and initiatives
• Manage multiple initiative workstreams, ensuring communication externally and across the organization and ensuring activities stay on track
• Collection and analysis of internal & external information to develop strategic recommendations in each subject matter area
• Coordination and support of discussions among stakeholders at varying levels of seniority
• Foster open, respectful, and professional communication directly within the team as well as with co-workers/ teammates and leaders across the organization
