Sr. Software Engineer - Infrastructure

Summary

The job is for a remote Software Engineer focusing on infrastructure solutions, working for Rula, a company dedicated to mental health care. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working directly as a software engineer
• Experience designing and implementing scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions
• Experience working with distributed systems architecture and principles
• Prior experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Passionate about writing well-tested code
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and optimize infrastructure solutions such as AuthZ, Message Queues, API Mashups, workflow orchestration, and event-driven systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms including SSO, OIDC, OAuth etc
• Experience writing production services in Node.js
• Experience with iterative development - deliver early and often for fast feedback
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
