Summary

Join Airbnb's Growth Marketing team as a Staff, Advanced Analytics to leverage your expertise in data analysis, experimentation, and statistical modeling. You will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic business and product initiatives, driving strategic recommendations, and building reporting tools. A typical day involves conducting advanced data analysis, designing and executing experiments, building metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This US-remote eligible position requires 10+ years of marketing data science experience, deep technical expertise in data analysis and experimentation, and robust business acumen. Requirements

  • 10+ years of marketing data science experience and background, preferably in lifecycle marketing, and other growth levers such as SEO, mobile marketing, offers and promotions
  • Prior experience in data science, marketing analytics within a marketplace or ecommerce company
  • Deep technical expertise in data analysis, experimentation, causal inference, and familiarity with LLMs
  • Robust business acumen, strategic thinking skills, and the ability to make informed judgments
  • Outstanding communication skills, capable of engaging with a variety of stakeholders and conveying complex concepts in an accessible manner
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to collaborate and influence across functions
  • An agile, growth-minded approach, demonstrated through a history of driving projects from ideation to impact
  • Extremely capable in independently structuring and managing fast-paced and sometimes complex workflow and priorities

Responsibilities

  • Conduct advanced data analysis and statistical modeling to extract actionable insights that inform strategic decisions
  • Design, execute, and analyze experiments to measure impact and guide the next test iterations. Leverage causal methods when traditional randomized trials aren’t available
  • Design and build metrics/dimensions to monitor product and business performance
  • Build sophisticated reporting and analytical tools that empower stakeholders to make data-driven decisions
  • Work cross-functionally with Strategic Finance, Data and Analytical Engineering, and Data Science teams to ensure alignment and leverage synergies
  • Manage senior stakeholder relationships, ensuring clarity of communication and strategic alignment on analytics initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experiences in leading integrated marketing approaches that leverage multiple channels is a big plus
  • Experiences with leveraging marketing channels to upsells, crosssells and retain users would be a plus
