Requirements

  • You are a seasoned engineer with at least 7 years of software development experience, including substantial expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript
  • You have deep experience in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures
  • You possess strong DevOps knowledge, particularly in managing cloud infrastructure using Terraform and AWS services
  • You have a proven track record of delivering high-quality products to production and driving technical innovation
  • You are passionate about leading teams, fostering collaboration, and mentoring others
  • You comprehensively understand the entire software development lifecycle, from architecture through deployment and operations
  • You are a strong communicator who enjoys problem-solving and collaborating across teams
  • You believe in continuous learning and are committed to driving technical and organizational improvements
  • You are fluent in English and thrive in a remote work environment (we do not have an office)
  • You are located within EMEA (GMTΒ±2 timezone)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor cross-functional, self-organized, and autonomous teams, driving technical excellence and innovation
  • Take a pivotal role in defining and designing the technical architecture of our products, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and performant
  • Oversee the entire application lifecycle, focusing on robust architecture design, high-quality code, and seamless integration of new technologies
  • Implement and advocate for best practices in DevOps, including infrastructure as code using Terraform, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
  • Drive the adoption of serverless and cloud-native architectures on AWS, ensuring optimal use of AWS services and efficient infrastructure management
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable architectural solutions
  • Act as a thought leader within the engineering team, promoting a culture of agility, excellence, and continuous improvement
