Staff Data Scientist, AI/ML

Summary

Join Komodo Health's Data Product Quality team and help define, build, monitor, and improve the quality of our data products. As a data scientist, you will shape the technical vision for data quality by partnering with various teams. Over the first year, you will become an expert in our healthcare datasets, contribute to data quality design decisions, enhance our testing framework, publish data quality insights, and implement quality monitoring tools. This role requires 10+ years of experience with healthcare data and processes, 5+ years in data analysis and testing, and proficiency in various databases and AI/ML modeling for healthcare applications. Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with healthcare data and processes
• 5+ years of experience creating, analyzing, and testing data within a data warehouse, ODS or analytics DB
• Keenly analytical mindset and the ability to solve complex problems with limited supervision
• Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively, in a fast-paced and demanding agile environment
• Ability to use a variety of relational, NoSQL, Postgres, and/or MPP databases (ideally Snowflake on AWS) and leading data modeling, schema design, and data storage best practices
• Demonstrated proficiency in designing and developing AI/ML models for healthcare applications
• Comfortable with version control systems such as Git/GitHub

Responsibilities

• Build analytics pipelines and complex logic to address tangible data quality issues
• Define acceptance criteria for new data products
• Analyze complex data sets and assess the completeness, consistency, and accuracy of data products
• Write automation SQL/scripts for regression testing and functional testing
• Produce interactive data quality dashboards using off-the-shelf tools and Komodo applications
