• Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Data Science, Operations Research, Economics or closely related quantitative discipline and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field
• Special Skill Requirements: Recommendation projects; Natural Language Processing; Algorithm; Machine learning; A/B experiment; Spark; Scala; SQL; Python; Data ETL

Responsibilities

• Conduct ecosystem analysis to develop a framework to evaluate the health of Pinterest content corpus
• Experiment to design and evolve capabilities and tools to evaluate the changes we make to our content levers
• Advise on experimentation best practices by identifying flaws in experiment practices and results
• Build tools for experiment analysis
• Identify what are the biggest content levers to help drive user engagement and retention
• Clearly communicate recommendations to product and engineering leadership on how we can evolve our internal strategy to address shortcomings observed through deep analysis
• Create and track success metrics
• Identify the right measures of success for product teams and help them track those metrics
• Own the full lifecycle of those metrics from logging requirements, metrics definition, prototype pipelines, and improvements
• Lead and mentor the scope of work for subordinates on the team
• Provide continuous and candid feedback, recognizing individual strengths and contributions and flagging opportunities to improve performance

Benefits

Salary: $250,000.00 - $304,496.00 per annum and standard company benefits
