Staff DevOps Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a DevOps Engineer and help scale and automate our infrastructure. You will collaborate with engineers to enhance performance and reliability, deploying resilient and secure systems using IaC practices. Daily tasks involve infrastructure automation, performance improvements, auto-scaling, and designing solutions prioritizing uptime, redundancy, and disaster recovery. You will also automate IaC deployment and configuration using various tools. This role requires strong GCP expertise and experience with CI/CD, Kubernetes, and scripting languages. Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with US clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ Years of experience working with DevOps
• 5+ Years of experience working with cloud infrastructure (GCP)
• 3+ Years of experience working with CI/CD tools (ex GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Gitlab, automated tests, automated deployments, etc)
• 3+ Years of experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, or similar container orchestration toolsets
• Ability to define infrastructure architecture solutions with a strong focus on GCP
• Deep expertise in GCP infrastructure services and architecture best practices
• Experience working with scripting development languages (JavaScript, Go, or Python)
• Experience working on Deployment automation, Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or Deployment Manager, monitoring, alerting, and dashboarding with Coralogix
• Experience troubleshooting and configuring GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud DNS, Cloud SQL, GKE, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, BigQuery, and IAM
• Linux administration experience, understanding Linux core fundamentals, and command line operations
• Advanced English Level is required for this role as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons

Responsibilities

• Interact daily with engineers and participate in the development process
• Work on infrastructure automation, performance improvements, and auto-scaling
• Design solutions focused on uptime, redundancy, DR, and understanding the security implications when interacting with Security and Compliance teams
• Automate IaC deployment and configuration using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Jenkins, providing consistent performance
