Requirements

  • Total experience 7+years
  • Strong working experience in ServiceNow development and implementation
  • Strong functional knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change Management, Service Catalog)
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow configuration: workflows, business rules, UI policies, and reporting
  • Solid understanding of ITIL framework and service management processes
  • Proven experience in requirement gathering and business analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for both technical and non-technical collaboration
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Bachelorโ€™s or masterโ€™s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analyzing the clients needs in the context of the project
  • Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and being able to define technologies, patterns, and frameworks to realize it
  • Determining and implementing design methodologies and toolsets
  • Enabling application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities
  • Being able to lead/support UAT and production rollouts
  • Creating, understanding, and validating WBS and estimated effort for given module/task, and being able to justify it
  • Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement
  • Giving constructive feedback to the team members and setting clear expectations
  • Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving complex bugs
  • Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and being able to justify the decision taken
  • Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in additional ServiceNow modules outside ITSM (e.g., HRSD, CSM, ITOM)
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Prior experience in customer-facing consulting roles
  • Mentoring the team members to meet the client's needs and holding them accountable for high standards of delivery detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
