Staff Frontend Engineer

Summary

Assured is seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer to own large components of their software, design new user interfaces, write code, maintain quality, lead other engineers, and understand customer feedback. The position requires experience with modern frontend technologies, building complex web applications, having an eye for design, and being technology-background agnostic. In the first month, the engineer may design and implement a new interface, lead a migration to WebGL rendering, or improve performance. Requirements

• Experience as in modern frontend technologies and shipping product
• Experience building complex modern web applications
• An eye for thoughtful design–you recognize and care about end user experience

Responsibilities

• Own large components of the Assured frontend
• Design new user interface elements and workflows
• Write lots of code: Conceptualize, build, test, and ship new products and features for our customers
• Maintain a high bar for quality of frontend experience across the Assured platform
• Take new features from idea to mockup to fully fledged product
• Understand customer feedback and advocate for product direction
• Lead, mentor, and learn from other engineers on our growing team
