Requirements

  • 8+ years experience in Product role managing the web presence and conversion rate optimization efforts at a direct to consumer (D2C) business
  • High energy, driver leadership style with the stamina to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • A proactive and resourceful approach, demonstrating ownership over growth metrics and a relentless focus on continuous improvement
  • Solid understanding of growth strategies such as A/B testing, funnel optimization, SEO, paid acquisition, and lifecycle marketing, with a focus on using these tactics to drive measurable impact
  • Highly skilled in data analysis and able self-serve analytics needs with SQL, Google Analytics, and Mixpanel
  • Track record of successfully leading Agile scrum teams to deliver software frequently and on-time

Responsibilities

  • Lead experimentation efforts with Product & Engineering to test new features & designs that create new entry points into the funnel or improve the conversion rate of visitors who start our funnel
  • Partner with Marketing to create the user experience required to enable new opportunities such as opening our Compliance offering every small business and creating custom experiences for affiliate partners. Drive the product work that enables the expansion into new channels such as podcast advertising and direct mail
  • Partner with our Brand, Marketing, & Engineering teams to ensure we maintain a high performing website with an on-brand UX. Be the first to know of any site performance issues and demonstrate expertise in the tactics that can drive improved site speed both in short and long term. Identify key areas on our website that visitors are getting stuck (signaled by high bounce rates, dead clicks, etc.) and lead design and engineering efforts to improve our site UX
  • Work closely with design and engineering teams to plan and execute website enhancements and ensure alignment with our customer acquisition strategy
  • Manage a 3-4 month rolling roadmap. In line with Marketing priorities, manage the feature backlog and prioritize enhancements that will have the most significant impact on customer acquisition. Collaborate with marketing peers to establish high quality success criteria, clear & executable product scope, and high quality designs
  • Be an expert in our product analytics stack to track customer behavior, acquisition metrics, and feature performance. Ensure that features added to the website either materially improve key performance metrics or at minimal maintain the status quo
  • Actively engage customers and tap into stakeholder knowledge on customer feedback through surveys, user testing, and in-house AI models to drive continuous improvement in website experience
  • Keep a real-time pulse on competitor websites and ensure that our product offerings are ahead of competitors at all times. Use learnings to inform what we do in experimentation & new traffic / customer acquisition opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Start up experience
  • Familiarity with Mixpanel and Tableau
  • Experience working with API providers and microservices
  • MacOS and G-Workspace knowledge
