Summary

Requirements

  • Have extensive experience with Rust and/or Move
  • Have previous experience and/or an adequate understanding of DeFi concepts such as tokens, minting, lending/borrowing, financial pools, staking and related concepts
  • Be someone who builds, innovates, and ships features with the highest standards
  • Have expertise in Move and have a high degree of comfort with advanced concepts

Responsibilities

  • Design, craft, and test secure Move based code
  • Participate in the development of protocol-level infrastructure and tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and functionality
  • Respond to security vulnerabilities, simulate the scenario, and evaluate a strategy and response
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues that arise during the development process
  • Review code written by other engineers to ensure it meets the required standards and specifications with a focus on security
  • Stay up to date with developments in the web3 ecosystem and incorporate new technologies as appropriate
  • Provide technical guidance, support, and mentoring to other engineers as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have previous experience in writing smart contracts (EVM, non-EVM chains) and a profound understanding of contracts architecture, attack vectors, vulnerabilities and design patterns
  • Have previous experience with decentralized financial oracles
  • Have experience with network and distributed systems programming
  • Constantly research and keep up with the latest hacks, tooling, and security practices
  • Be passionate about DeFi and Social
