Requirements

  • 3-year Family Medicine residency or equivalent
  • Active medical license and Board Certification in Family Medicine (ABMS or AOA)
  • 3+ years of post-residency primary care experience
  • 1+ year supervising Advanced Practice Providers (NPs or PAs)
  • Eligible for Medicare/Medicaid participation, with no sanctions or exclusions
  • Active Medicare status
  • Comfortable managing medical conditions across specialties
  • Experience managing a patient panel in primary care
  • Empathetic, patient-focused, efficient, able to meet volume targets without sacrificing quality
  • Knowledgeable about HIPAA and committed to protecting patient information
  • Telemedicine experience and strong technical skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide telehealth services, speaking with patients by phone and video to assess their needs, gather clinical history, diagnose, and provide appropriate treatment or guidance
  • Consult as part of the Connected Care Program, developing care plans and ensuring successful outcomes
  • Manage a panel of patients, offering comprehensive care, including acute care, chronic disease management, and preventive health services
  • Manage nurse practitioners and physician assistants to support high-quality care delivery
  • Partner with our Credentialing Team to secure additional state licenses
  • Maintain patient satisfaction by providing empathetic, evidence-based care
  • Work from a secure, professional home office, ensuring timely attendance for shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical developments, treatments, and medications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Multiple state licenses are important
  • IMLC state residency is important (visit IMLC)
