Summary

Join KMG Medical Group as a telemedicine physician providing high-quality virtual care to patients with chronic conditions. You will consult and treat patients, proactively check in on treatment plans, collaborate with colleagues, respond to patient messages, and provide feedback to improve care. The ideal candidate is board-certified in Psychiatry, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine, with experience treating mental health conditions and multiple state licenses. This role requires excellent communication skills, empathy, and a passion for patient education. Telehealth experience and Spanish fluency are preferred.

Requirements

  • MD/DO with ABMS Board Certification in either Psychiatry, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
  • Experience treating depression, anxiety and other mental health conditions
  • Multiple state licenses required; must have at least 10 licenses
  • Must be able to work at least 16 weekend hours a month
  • Must be able to work 4 holidays and holiday weekends annually
  • Physicians are required to have collaborative agreements with up to 10 Advanced Practice Providers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • No restrictions to be credentialed with Medicaid or other payers
  • Able to deliver to patients empathetic high-quality care
  • Passionate about patient education
  • Willingness to work across various conditions/service lines
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Consult and treat patients experiencing a variety of conditions
  • Proactively check in with patients on their treatment plans
  • Collaborate cross functionally for operational support as needed
  • Respond to patient messages and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Provide feedback to improve quality of care and operational processes
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal and state information privacy laws
  • Consult and treat patients with mental health conditions
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least two (2) years of telehealth experience
  • Fluency in Spanish (both written and spoken) is a plus
  • Willingness to work regular weekends or evenings
