Staff Product Designer

Summary

You will contribute to maintaining and advocating for high-quality design, creating new components, and leading projects for marketing pages, web apps, and core features. This role involves designing features with excellent IA and UX, working within an incomplete design library, and contributing to its development. You will also have opportunities to work on a new desktop web app and marketing pages, and mentor the design team. Requirements

• Autonomously advocate for real user needs, business strategy, and a consistent and easeful experience for users throughout the whole product lifecycle process
• Explain pros / cons of ideas based on research, user data, or other reasoning. Vocal on strategy, biz acumen, and empathy for users. Estimate design time when tasked on multiple projects
• Autonomously ship features from 0 - 1 with high bar for IA, UX, UI, final visuals
• 6+ YOE startups, multiple shipped features, advocates for mindful design + efficient EPD process

Responsibilities

• Maintain and advocate for consistent, high quality bar + culture
• Contribute to new components
• Lead the marketing page, web app, or ongoing core features
• Design these features with great IA & UX, working within an incomplete and undocumented design library
• Contribute / Help Build New Design Library (web, mobile, marketing pages) post-rebrand
• Design Ops: Rituals and Culture to increase the velocity of the design team
• Design Culture: Rituals and Culture to increase mindful EPD collaboration
• Mentorship of Design Team (upskilling, efficient systems)
