Join Cyberhaven as a Staff Product Manager and lead the strategy and execution for DSPM. This pivotal role requires an experienced product manager with a cybersecurity background to collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams. You will define product vision, conduct market research, and collaborate with external partners to enhance product integrations. The position involves overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from concept to end-of-life, and ensuring alignment with market demands and company objectives. You will also develop sales tools, training programs, and monitor product performance. Finally, you will establish Cyberhaven as a thought leader in the security space.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product management with a focus on cybersecurity
- Strong understanding of data protection, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies
- Skilled at working cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and sales teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Entrepreneurial spirit, with a passion for creating innovative solutions that address customer needs
- Strategic mindset with a passion for innovation and a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product strategy for the DSPM portfolio, encompassing market positioning, competitive analysis, pricing, and go-to-market plans
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept to end-of-life, ensuring continuous alignment with market demands, the competitive landscape, and company objectives. Continuously strive to enhance data products and maximize customer value
- Lead and collaborate closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to prioritize the product roadmap, define features, and execute successful product launches. Cultivate strong, trusted relationships with engineering leads, peer product managers, and other key stakeholders
- Conduct thorough market research, customer interviews to deeply understand customer needs and concerns, and competitive analysis. Use these insights to inform product development and marketing strategies, and create scalable methods for effectively communicating value propositions and technical details
- Develop compelling sales tools, training programs, and collateral to empower the sales team to effectively articulate the value proposition of our solutions to customers and partners, thereby increasing customer engagement
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for the analytics and reporting product portfolio. Regularly monitor and report on product performance against these metrics
- Establish yourself and the company as prominent thought leaders in the security space through active participation in industry conferences, webinars, white papers, and other thought leadership initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in DSPM, SSE, or DLP is preferred, though not essential
