Requirements

• 7+ years of experience using modern web technologies and frameworks like React, Angular, NestJS, Node.JS, GraphQL
• Highly proficient in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
• Expertise in Git and experience managing complex branching strategies in large-scale projects
• Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI or others
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Proven experience mentoring and leading teams of engineers, with a focus on fostering customer obsession, bias for action and a collaborative and team culture
• Fluent English

Responsibilities

• Lead Web Development Initiatives: Design, develop, and maintain responsive and high-performance web applications using Angular and other modern web technologies
• Architect and Implement Solutions: Work closely with product and design teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions that are scalable and maintainable
• Advocate and encourage Git branching strategies, ensuring streamlined development workflows, code quality, and efficient collaboration across teams
• Oversee release trains, ensuring timely and predictable release cycles. Use feature flags to decouple deployment from feature release, allowing delayed testing and progressive rollouts
• Partner with DevOps and drive the implementation and improvement of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring that code is automatically tested, integrated, and deployed with minimal manual intervention
• Conduct code reviews to maintain high coding standards, optimize performance, and ensure best practices are followed
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, providing technical leadership and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
• Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products that meet business goals
• Identify bottlenecks and optimize performance across the application stack, ensuring fast and responsive user experiences
• Keep up to date with the latest trends and advancements in web development, bringing innovative ideas and technologies to the team
