Startup Ecosystem Researcher

Summary

Join StartupBlink, a global startup ecosystem map and research center, as a remote, full-time consultant. Work from anywhere in the Europe time zone on a per-project basis. You will contribute to analysis and consulting reports, conduct research, and perform outreach interviews related to startup ecosystems and economic development. Requirements

• Advanced university degrees (Master’s degree or equivalent) and/or relevant policy experience in Sustainability, Economics, Environment, Public Policy, or other Social Sciences related fields
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience with a master’s degree or a minimum 7 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree at the national and/or international level
• Proven working experience in economics, public policy, environmental and sustainable development themes, or related fields
• Excellent knowledge of data collection and analysis
• Ability to facilitate consultations with multi-stakeholders in various fields
• Sound grasp of substantive policy issues in the development field
• Proficient writing skills
• Proficiency in English (both spoken and written)
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia

Responsibilities

• Help in writing analysis and consulting reports and client projects
• Conduct research
• Conduct outreach interviews that have to do with startup ecosystems and economic development

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in facilitating dialogue among multi-disciplinary stakeholders to formulate, validate, and adopt reform priorities
