Summary
Join Peregrine Technologies as the first State Corrections Lead, a business builder and experienced seller who will strategically assess, prioritize, plan, and sell to state-level corrections customers. Develop the strategy for adapting Peregrine’s existing offering to address the most pressing needs of the state corrections space, and create a go-to-market motion to launch and scale the vertical. Meet and exceed sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing high-value sales opportunities. Deliver senior-level presentations and demonstrations, overseeing the entire sales cycle while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their technology roadmap to drive Peregrine’s solution. Identify, develop, and document GTM best practices, holding a crucial peer-leadership role in setting the pace and tone across the sales organization. This remote position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Requirements
- 12+ years of field sales experience in the enterprise software/SaaS space, ideally building within high-ambiguity greenfield verticals; experience within data integration, analytics, and business intelligence in corrections / public safety strongly preferred
- A track record of success in selling SaaS subscriptions into net new complex state-level accounts, demonstrated by overachievement of quota and strong customer references
- Experience with federal and state grant opportunities for state law enforcement agencies
- Ability and comfort in negotiating and closing legal agreements with customers and supporting new customers through onboarding processes
- Familiarity with solution-based selling, experience managing a complex sales process from 0-to-1
- Excellent presentation, listening, organization, and contact management skills
- Excellent executive-level verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
Responsibilities
- Strategically assess, prioritize, plan, and sell to our state-level corrections customers
- Develop the strategy for adapting Peregrine’s existing offering to address the most pressing needs of the state corrections space
- Create a go-to-market motion to launch from 0 to 1 and then scale the vertical
- Meet and exceed sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing high-value and highly visible sales opportunities
- Deliver senior-level presentations and demonstrations highlighting Peregrine’s advantages, features, and functions
- Oversee the entire sales cycle while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across deployment strategy, marketing, legal, and operations
- Be the trusted advisor to the customer by understanding their existing and future technology roadmap to drive Peregrine’s solution
- Identify, develop, and document GTM best practices in collaboration with others
- Hold a crucial peer-leadership role in setting the pace and tone across our sales organization
Preferred Qualifications
State-level law enforcement/corrections leadership career experience is highly preferred
Benefits
Salary Range: $160,000 - $200,000 Annually + Sales Commission + Benefits + Equity (if applicable) + Bonus (if applicable)
