Summary
Join Databricks as a Strategic Enterprise Account Executive and drive growth within high-growth financial services or GSIs. You will be responsible for expanding consumption within existing accounts, compressing decision cycles, and demonstrating value to customers. This role requires deep product understanding and strong communication skills. You will interact with C-level executives and practitioners, exceeding activity, pipeline, and revenue targets. Accelerators are offered above 100% quota accomplishment. Ideal candidates possess experience in consumption selling and the Financial Services sector, particularly with Global FSIs and Professional Services customers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Open Source Technologies and build vs buy decision-making
- 5-8 years of experience with Value Selling Methodologies
- Proven years of experience exceeding sales quotas
- Success closing new accounts while working on existing accounts
- Sales experience within big data, Cloud, or SaaS sales
Responsibilities
- Communicate account strategy to Databricks Senior Leadership on a regular basis
- Allocate Databricks resources to grow existing accounts
- Meet with C-Level Executives to Practitioner level to understand how Databricks can make an impact on business outcomes
- Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets
- Use a creative, fail-fast approach to selling and creating value for customers
- Build a plan for success internally at Databricks and externally with your accounts
- Expand consumption within existing business
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working a consumption selling motion
- Experience working within the Financial Services space, primarily across Global FSI's and Professional Services customers
