Summary
Join Twilio as a Strategic Account Executive - ISV and manage key customer accounts in India. Reporting to the RVP, ISV Sales APAC, you will be responsible for protecting and growing Twilio's communications business. This role involves driving sales cycles, developing account strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will need extensive experience in sales, particularly within the Indian market, and a proven track record of success. The position offers a remote work arrangement based in Singapore with some travel required. Twilio provides competitive pay and benefits.
Requirements
- 8+ years of proven quota success in a sales/ISV sales role
- Deep knowledge of of India market
- Successful track record of personally selling and closing solutions to software companies, telcos, system integrators or resellers
- Technically savvy and good understanding of SaaS solutions
- Demonstrated success by achieving quota on a consistent and predictable basis
- Strong experience identifying, mapping and prospecting key prospects
- Ability to drive the sales process from internal leads to qualifying new prospects and handling deals to closure
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with decision makers and C-level Executives
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Twilio executives, compliance, go to market and product marketing to build and implement ISV strategies to increase Twilioβs market share and brand awareness
- Manage and expand some of our most important customer accounts, including financial services, high growth technology, logistics, and fintech companies
- Develop, drive, and execute account strategy to consistently deliver strong revenue through upsell and cross sell, gross margin, and gross profit results
- Master creating pricing proposals, negotiating terms and managing the contract process
- Able to balance challenging priorities and handle multiple projects/deals
- Develop and execute on a comprehensive territory plan
- Engage in consultative sales cycles with a focus on deep discovery, listening to customer needs and being an effective champion for their point of view in the organization
- Accurately forecast your opportunities, consistently achieve goals and maintain up to date and accurate data within CRM
Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelorβs degree or equivalent experience
- Telco/CPaaS experience is highly desirable
- Experience selling SaaS/CPaaS/Telco solution selling to a technical and business audience
- An understanding of the cloud computing/communications business model
