Summary

Join ICEYE, a global leader in synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite operations, as a Strategic Account Manager for ANZ. This permanent, remote role focuses on commercial opportunities within existing NEMA and Geoscience Australia contracts, and proactively seeking new business in local governments and utilities. You will be responsible for developing and executing penetration strategies, building key business relationships, and supporting proposal development. Requirements

  • Passionate about customer centric selling, business development, relationship building, customer success, complex problem solving, and thought leadership
  • Strong account management or account executive background
  • Geospatial Sales experience
  • Disaster Management / Emergency Response experience
  • At least 5-years of sales experience with federal and/or state/local agencies
  • Ability to work in a fast pace start-up supporting clients during emergencies
  • This role necessitates fluency in English
  • Self motivated and proactive, strong social skills, and ability to present in large settings
  • Ability to travel to client meetings or conferences

Responsibilities

  • Follow commercial opportunities within, and upsell to, both the NEMA and Geoscience Australia contracts
  • Proactively hunt for new business across the region within local governments and utilities
  • Develop a strategy in the region - including identifying the right route for ICEYE's services (e.g. federal and/or state/local Government), landing and expanding key client accounts on a long-term basis, managing relationships whilst supporting/identifying new opportunities within the Region
  • Prospect key accounts to identify the important buyer personas and utilize both warm and cold outreach to engage
  • Be the Lead Relationship manager for your accounts and key points of contact
  • Develop and execute penetration strategy whilst building and developing key business relationships across key accounts
  • Work with the Head of APAC Government Solutions to support and develop proposals for Government prospects
  • Build internal relationships and liaise with Product Team to ensure continuous improvement within delivery
  • Work closely with marketing to coordinate lead generation campaigns and increase overall successful conversions of leads to sales

Preferred Qualifications

  • Sales experience with federal or state agencies focused on disaster response/recovery
  • Understanding of natural disasters
