Summary
Join Medical Guardian as a Strategic Account Manager, reporting to the Regional Vice President. You will manage existing partnerships with Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), state agencies, and provider networks, focusing on accelerating growth in Medicaid LTSS and Dual Eligible programs. Responsibilities include negotiating contracts, delivering presentations, expanding programs, tracking performance metrics, and collaborating with internal teams. This remote role requires travel and a quota-bearing focus. The ideal candidate possesses 8+ years of relevant account management experience in healthcare, strong communication and presentation skills, and a passion for Medical Guardian's mission.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of account management experience required; specifically with accountability for driving growth across an assigned account base
- Healthcare experience required
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
- Strong presentation skills
- Possess proven analytical/problem solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and high-growth environment
- Passionate about Medical Guardianβs mission
- Willing to travel across the United States as needed
Responsibilities
- Negotiate and secure amendments, addendums, and renewals
- Manage PERS partnerships supporting LTSS and HCBS programs
- Prepare and deliver virtual and in-person presentations to various MCO, Agency, and provider stakeholders
- Prepare and deliver monthly/quarterly account business reviews
- Expand MGEngage360, gap closure, and Fall Risk programs with accounts
- Build out and keep current org charts and key contacts across accounts
- Launch email campaigns and work with Marketing on account nurturing strategies
- Implement gap closure and RPM initiatives designed to improve chronic condition management, reduce unnecessary hospitalizations, and enhance member engagement
- Track program performance, using key metrics (e.g., STARS, HEDIS, CAHPS, readmissions, utilization)
- Collaborate with sales, business development, operations, and compliance teams to ensure successful delivery of services and resolution of issues
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Medical Guardian/MedScope services
- Participate to and adhere to organizational guidelines, policies and procedures in accordance with funding source requirements, as well as State and Federal laws
- Travel to account meetings, conferences, and other events
- Other duties as assigned
