Join Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) as a Strategic Account Manager (SAM)! This remote role involves 50% nationwide travel and focuses on ensuring the success of strategic accounts. You will work closely with clients, leadership, and internal teams to manage customer relationships, analyze KPIs, develop action plans, and grow business through cross-selling and upselling. The ideal candidate possesses experience in account management, particularly within the janitorial industry, and proficiency in sales software and Excel. Requirements
- Understanding of operations account management processes
- Sales software, CRM/ERP (Salesforce etc.) and related technology
- Ability to identify and close sales opportunities
- Interpersonal and cross functional relationship building and engagement that result in positive collectively supported positive outcomes
- Available for 50% travel domestically
- Experience in the janitorial industry, preferably working with retail accounts
- 3+ years of strategic, account management
- Proficiency with Excel
- Experience working with large, multimillion dollar, National accounts
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience required
Responsibilities
- Act as senior point of contact with customers and establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
- Responsible for managing the customer relationship and developing strategic plans to manage customer accounts(s)
- Works closely with customers to ensure the service delivery meets customer contracted requirements and ultimately established the confidence and trust that leads to overall customer satisfaction and retention
- Analyzes the key performance indicators (KPIβs) as defined by the customer and KBS to develop and/or implement action plans for areas that are sub-standard
- Grows current business through industrial engineering of clientsβ scopes of work, cross-selling and up-selling other services
- Meet assigned sales quota and expectations for profitability for assigned accounts, independently or in partnership with the Sales team
- Monitor and assist with client billing and collection issues
- Conduct Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process with each assigned customer
