Summary
Join AvePoint as a Strategic Consultant and lead the deployment and adoption of AvePoint tools and Microsoft 365 for our clients. Serve as the key technical consultant/architect, evaluating, managing, and delivering projects that accelerate customer adoption of their Microsoft investments. Key responsibilities include architecting and deploying enterprise implementations, delivering customer training, implementing technical strategies, acting as a customer advocate, and compiling technical documentation. You will also provide technical support, create prototypes, and ensure product readiness. This role requires a BA/BS degree, 7+ years of experience in architectural design and development with a focus on Microsoft 365 and Azure applications, and expertise in SharePoint, Office 365, and related services. The ability to travel is required.
Requirements
- BA/BS Degree
- 7+ years of experience in architectural design and development with a focus on planning, deploying or supporting enterprise level Microsoft 365 and Azure applications
- Solid understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure, and SharePoint services architecture, components, and configuration differences for all versions
- Experience in managing and running IT projects such as system migrations, consolidation, and deployment
- Must be able to install, configure, and maintain Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019, IIS, SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2010/2013/2016/2019, and SQL server
- Working knowledge of Relational SQL Server 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, and 2019 with a strong understanding of database concepts
- Experience with programming constructs, business logic development, information architecture, and taxonomy strategies supporting web services in a SharePoint/.NET environment
- Expert in leading workshops including IT governance and information governance & compliance strategy topics for enterprise level SharePoint implementations
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, DNS, SMTP, and DHCP technologies
- Experience performing distributed application production updates in a 24/7 environment
- Solid understanding of IT governance and compliance standards such as ITIL and COBIT
- Working technical knowledge of current software protocols and Internet standards
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to set and meet deadlines on multiple projects without frequent supervision
- Effective oral and written communication skills with exceptional customer service skills, including the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of customers
- Excellent technical writing skills and proven track record of composing guides, testing documents, technical outlines and schematics
- Strong organizational awareness within customer environment
- Ability to work individually and within a highly collaborative team setting
- Ability to travel
Responsibilities
- Serving as the technical lead and consultant for the delivery of services engagements ranging from management, migration and protection of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint through the implementation of AvePoint tools and solutions
- Architecting, configuring, and deploying enterprise implementations for the AvePoint product line and the Microsoft technology stack, including next generation product stack
- Delivering training sessions to customers through web-based conferences or onsite at customerโs location
- Implementing proposed technical strategies and solutions to satisfy customersโ business needs
- Acting as the customer advocate and liaison for product management and development
- Compiling technical documentation of projects and implementations as well as service deliverables
- Effectively and accurately setting client expectations and deliverables
- Playing an ad-hoc technical resource by providing technical support, product demonstration, and/or solution consultation
- Proposing and/or designing technical solutions, which include creating prototypes and proofs of concept to assist the product selection process
- Providing validation and readiness of AvePoint products against technical and business requirements
- Servicing various technical projects for internal purposes
- Advancing internal-QA and Scenario testing with virtualized infrastructures and technologies
